Forward played in the first line with the former Atlanta Thrashers prospect Niclas Lucenius. He didn’t have any special team responsibility but he played 11 minutes on ice and got one shot.

Halme showed flashes of great stickhandling abilities. He controlled the puck well and made some pretty good dekes. However he had some problems receiving the puck and his shot didn’t look like an asset at this game. He also didn’t move the puck quick enough and he got into problems when he got into one-on-ones or board plays due to his still incomplete physique. Halme could also improve his positioning off the puck and he was mostly outside the play.

However skating makes Halme intriguing prospect. He is now playing in the second best league in Finland against grown-up men and still his skating and especially top speed stood out. He is agile and quick and when he gets more experience, he could become efficient player thanks to this asset. Halme isn’t the smallest player on ice either but he still has frame to fill out and if he does that, it should help him greatly in the future.
