Korhonen got a goal and registered seven shots in a semifinal loss against Ässät. His goal was a nice wrist shot in front of net and overall his shooting skill seems to be on a good level.

The biggest concern with Korhonen is obviously his relatively small size and he loses majority of battles on board and in front of own goal. He tries to compensate his small size by defending with stick but defender is occasionally late and out of position to be really efficient. Also while he is mobile, his speed leaves a lot to be desired.

However defenceman has interesting assets and it is easy to see why he has been one of the most efficient defenders in a league this season. Offensively Korhonen has a lot to give. He carries the puck well but doesn’t carry it when it’s not necessary. He also gives sharp and really precise passes. Korhonen also makes him playable constantly in the offensive zone and that allows him to use his shot often. Overall his offensive game should allow him to become good player in a pro level.
