KooKoo had a disappointing game against Ilves and the team suffered a heavy 0-7 loss. Oden had five shots in this game and he got a lot of time on ice. He currently has nine points in twelve games in Finnish U20 league.

Oden is fairly small forward but he is energetic and quick and he likes to go directly to the net. His checking game was really efficient and he took a lot of takeaways, but he seemed to run out of gas at the end of game. However Oden got almost 20 minutes of ice time in a game that ended just around 15 hours before this game and also this match was pretty much over after 30 minutes.

After this viewing I was not sold on Oden’s hockey sense or defensive awareness and I also thought his skill level and shot were pretty average. But his work ethic was excellent, skating was smooth and he tried his best from shift to shift.
