Myllykoski was playing on Jokerit’s third defensive pairing, but received a lot of ice time and was used on both special teams. He also received a primary assist on Jokerit’s second goal.

Myllykoski stood out as his team’s most skilled defenceman. He showed good poise with the puck and constantly made good decisions under pressure. Myllykoski is a very good skater and created zone exits and entries by carrying the puck utilizing his speed. Despite being only 5’7” and 148 pounds, he also managed to play a sound defensive game.
